Frequently Asked Questions
Does Strata work with projects at all stages of development?
At Strata, we focus primarily on large, mature operations that are either (A) in production or (B) near production, with feasibility studies.
We can source development and exploration projects for buyers, however it is not our priority.
What criteria do your buyers prioritize?
The buyers in our network are seeking control (51-100%) of large, mature operations.
Although we will consider development-stage projects, it is not our priority.
What regions do you cover?
Our activity on the sell side has largely been in Central and South America, which continues to be our strength. We have consulted buyers from North America, the Middle East, and across Asia.
Can Strata raise capital for development or exploration projects?
If you are raising funds for the development of a mine, you can send your pitch deck to our email for review.
Does Strata fund infrastructure projects?
Direct infrastructure investment is not our focus. We may consider structuring deals involving infrastructure when it is tied to a producing or near-production mining asset, or a long-term supply agreement.
